Diarrhea And Implantation

The Town -

Despite his interest in film at 360 degrees and the valuable political and humanitarian interests, I have never had much interest in the figure of Ben Affleck. After all, as apparently trying to approach decoupled from the Hollywood star system, it is still an actor, and can not say I have never appreciated nor film, nor even the performances.
The Town I was still attracted by the excellent trailer, and with the provocative image of a nun armed with a gun was undeniably capable of turning the curiosity, and luck. Because behind the promotion is a well made enjoyable movie, well scripted and shot with a steady hand, can nailed to the chair throughout the performance. The merits are different to the aforementioned director capable joins an obvious ability to create and gradually foster a palpable narrative tension, which is not limited solely to the action scenes (though effective), and extend to several well-orchestrated sequences dialogic. Then there are the characters believable, that the discrete Affleck seen alongside the excellent Jon Hamm and Jeremy Renner, respectively, in the role of the disillusioned detective road dangerous and crazy guy. We can not speak of a true investigation of these figures, although some sequences are able to dig a bit 'longer than necessary in their psychology, with interesting implications. Rebecca Hall also appreciated, much soap and water, able to transmit at the same time very fragile and determination. In the background is different from a Boston as I had seen, far from the center of the treated areas, decreased in the depression of the slums. In a few shootings, and many other pleasant pursuits dialogues (those expecting a pure action movie will be disappointed, best classified as a drama) the minute rush, and lead to the weakest part of the formula: an ending a bit 'trivial and controversial, unpleasant for the validity of its premise. On the other hand, The Town still worth watching because of its quality INEGI: manages to avoid the law of the average Hollywood gangster movie with more mature themes, not lost in the usual moral discounted and can not weigh in spite of above average duration.

Inception Review - An in-depth

A simple Google search of the key "Inception" is enough to realize how the work of Nolan has tickled the fancy and imagination of the public, creating hundreds of interpretations, small thinking and new ideas.
From this point of view, it is very curious that a film that tells of how an idea is implanted in a person's head any, will be able to do exactly this: Inception is both the object of the staging and the effect of vision. From the room comes, inevitably, with a head full of new ideas, and can not be a coincidence. It 's just one of many levels of interpretation of the Chinese box packed by Nolan.

- NB. The following discussion contains plot elements, so it strongly recommended reading to anyone who had not yet seen the film. -
Think about the concept of Inception seen as a metaphor of film art itself, frequently analyzed in the reviews and interpretations put on paper "official" and amateur. Cobb director, writer Ariadne, Saito producer, the rest of the team split between technicians and actors, the audience Fischer. They plan (film) dream up a blackboard with the preview of the models, make the visits, and then take, we leave, just as it does in Hollywood. Here is a second level of interpretation of the work.
But let's get to real juice of this discussion: the final scene of the film inevitably raises many questions. The camera moves from the top few seconds before what should be the final answer big raises each time murmurs of disappointment and half-smiles. It 's a trick? E 'lack of courage in giving the work a real ending? Or is it just the spark to a further level of interpretation? Why Inception, and here we enter the sphere of my personal opinion, is a dream. All a dream. Nothing would make sense otherwise, the whole story would not be standing. And the clues are scattered everywhere, at that level for as long as we believe is reality. Consider, for example in pursuit on foot through the streets of Mombasa, in which Cobb slips between two buildings so close that trap it in a vise, classical metaphor and dream representation of panic, internal oppression. Or the dialogue with his father, Mal, who often intimate Cobb to wake up, get out of the dream, as his wife asks him if he does not he likes a bit 'strange' and unnamed assassins chase him up and down the globe, whether it is simply a projection of her fears, strain into a dream. Moving on to the scene of the suicide of Mal, where we see her sitting on the ledge of a hotel room mirrors the one where is Cobb. The representation of the separation between the two is clearly metaphorical, would not make sense for her to be in another room. Speaking of Mal, his was the top that Cobb was elected to his totem, which he believes to be a reliable indication of the state of dream or reality. But on reflection, where we saw the top all the time? In the dream shared by Cobb and Mal. The top itself is not ever existed, is a construct, an element of the dream, and it makes no sense to have the Cobb with it in reality. Because the reality, for as long as we are never shown. The entire final sequence of the film, without transition from one place to another, without a word between the team members who have experienced such incredible, with the father of Mal that is mysteriously teleported from Paris to Los Angeles, Saito with that with only one phone call to Cobb clean criminal record, is clearly representative of a dream state, a kind of catharsis induced after a prolonged state of anxiety and suffering. You could also talk about character actors, little in-depth, stylized: no one asks questions, raises no particular objection if Ariadne, who has also accepted a job without knowing the least patently illegal cuffs. Everything is sparse, simplified from the mind of Cobb, who in the dream skips the normal human processes, already knowing the answers to questions that the constructs of his dream is therefore not arise. We come to the point. That the top is dropped, or not, it does not matter. Why all the long and convoluted journey is a journey into the labyrinth of the mind of Cobb. What has led to the dream articulated so cathartic and ultimately we can only imagine. In reality, what we see and we will never see his wife is really ol'ha died just left? And the children? They ran, they are alive? The same Cobb could be much older as we see in the film. But all this does not matter. What matters is that the whole development is, by the always questionable in my opinion, a dream produced by the mind of a desperate man, seeking a redemption that can only be found in his head, a catharsis necessary to continue to live (or die in peace), and therefore possible that even if only in a long hallucination.
And so we come to the final level of analysis, before the football synchronized us back to the surface: Inception is a dream, he is a dream. It 's the dream of Nolan, in which we are drawn just as Fischer, from which we come out with a head full of ideas that two and a half hours before they were ours, they were someone else, were Nolan. The idea that to reach catharsis and redemption for the mistakes in what we call reality, sometimes it is sufficient to deal with themselves, in their heads. Forgive.
This is the magic of Inception. A call action movie disguised as a philosophizing, to call into question the Matrix, The Thirteenth Floor and the like, in my opinion it makes a big mistake. In the work of Nolan's much more than the shooting and special effects do not suggest. Why, just as explained in the film itself, if you play too much with the elements of a dream, if you overdo it, your mind will be less willing to accept the idea that you want to install. That's why Nolan to implant in our minds its language uses a deceptively simple and affordable for everyone.
is the real value of Inception: in a context where everything is a metaphor for all, where the keys are a lot of reading, I am sure that future visions I suggest a new level of interpretation beyond those summarized here, and will be many years before a film that makes me think back to these levels.

What S The Best Way To Masterbate

The Social Network - Review

"The film on Facebook," is the name of The Social Network in Italy. And often with a sardonic smile included.
Why in our country by a lot of ignorance and easy judgments, the social site for excellence is so (often obsessively) used as vilified, accused of doing from heaven for nerds, sexual predators and pedophiles. Beyond the personal opinions of the nature and use of the site, "the film about Facebook" is such a great film, like it or not. With the dry style and control that has already proven to be used in Zodiac, Fincher is staging a fun mix somewhere between the legal thriller and comedy, thanks to a intelligent assembly and use of flashbacks as the backbone narrative arc not boring despite the considerable duration. If half of the applause and then go to the director, the rest are all for the excellent cast: Jesse Eisenberg was nice that it was already understood in Zombieland , but here shows very different maturity, playing to perfection Zuckerberg characterized by a rush of 'mood is not easy to give in front of the camera, that despite the many facets hours of the conclusion can emerge as a character in the round. Andrew Garfield is a more immediate and intense, and interprets it with remarkable naturalness, without exceeding in the most dramatic: it is no coincidence that the character is at the end where it is easier to identify with. Surprising even Justin Timberlake, on which personally I would not bet: convincing and sympathetic in his role, he manages to revive the fortunes of the film at a time when half performance was likely to slow down a bit 'too much. Overall a great film, perhaps over-praised by American critics, but worth the attention of anyone interested in cinema, for good ideas, the direction and level of morality, not too explicit, not at all trivial and obvious . Those who had interest in the facts, pure and simple do not enchant: the story has been thoroughly romanticized in many of its aspects, and despite the use of real names and logo, The Social Network is part of a work of fiction. Except for one thing: that in the era of the Internet can become a millionaire in twenty years is a reality, nondimendo remote but real. And that may not like how you think it is also true.

The Walking Dead - Review Pilot

What balls advertising. In short, anyone interested in the TV series was well aware of the arrival of The Walking Dead, but what was the need to make even the stones involved in the thing?
While promoting a commercial carpet looks have been functioning with plays bad, it has also created excessive expectations as is often the case when compared to the product, thanks to the trailer very sly. Why TWD is not an action, at least not at the moment, and it is not so much a zombie series: it is more of a series on people, and their relationships in an extreme situation. A disaster movie (or series disaster) copyright in short, can through a decent cast to investigate the consequences of isolation, fear for their continued survival of the links that are created in situations to the limit. The driver does exactly that, without excessive nor directorial virtuosity, or interpreted. A closer look a scene is shot too bad (when the protagonist, now given up, sees the opening in the tank is not given room for his reaction, ruining the pathos and the plot twist). For those who have seen the Italian version on Sky, part of the blame also goes to the Italian censorship, which we would want to open a nice chapter. Although located in the airing late evening, the pilot has seen reduced by 20 minutes of gruesome scenes, obviously going to ruin the original installation ... we kidding? The only answer is, download and enjoy the original, and for once, without guilt, since it seems that the Italian TV in the hands of a bunch of idiots who do not deserve the share. That said, the pilot TWD does a nice job, thanks to his long silence, the palpable pathos in certain sequences, and the elegance that allows him not to fall into horror cliché in the media. It is worth spending the Oretta and a half that lasts, and hope that they are laying the groundwork for another 3 hours and spends a good entertainment. Certainly not worth the hype put in place, and we hope that the ratings of future episodes do not pay for the consequences.

What Are The Biggest Curlers I Can Get

Inception -

There was a lot of waiting in my part for Inception. That trailer more than six months ago I had nailed to the chair, plucking the strings just enough to water the seed of curiosity. Only in retrospect I realize how effectively those thirty seconds of promo art to be mounted without excessive spoilers, but showing just enough to intrigue.
I like to call the new work by Nolan as the first "action movie auteur" of history. Because while not eluding to the dynamics and issues of popcorn, Inception tells his story to perfection, no flaws, the pieces on the board and then deliver the checkmate, but did not explain in detail all the steps, letting the viewer to offer you the right questions and to find the answers alone. With a screenplay that draws abundantly from Matrix, from the pages of Borges and Philip Dick, Nolan tells an original story not so much in the premises in the performance, which bases all its complicated essence, it is appropriate to say, on a simple idea. On the other hand, as stylistically well-kept, the imaginary dream where Nolan takes us for almost the entire duration of the film is extremely cold and rational: Dreams crafted to achieve the goals "are not strictly legal" team are sterile aseptic and populated by a subconscious and spontaneous extremely hostile intrusion. I am also desperately rational, both in the strict rules that govern them both in the paradoxes that we harbor, so as not to seem more dreams, more than anything else so much closer to the concept of collective hallucination. Cold are also the members of the team, largely driven by economic interests, with the exception of the protagonist, who, moreover, has never thought of making a living with something different from theft. Like it or not, this is the vision of Nolan, and should be recognized that the efficiency with which it is proposed making it self-sufficient and able to stand, to suspend the disbelief of the spectator stage for the duration of the spell. Apprezzabilissimo approach: despite the difficult nature of the plot, Nolan throws the viewer into the fray in the middle without giving lengthy explanations, thus arousing attention that is rewarded by providing all the tools necessary to understand the pace, leaving enough unanswered questions to encourage reflection, sull'intreccio the suspect even after the credits. The real magic however lies in its Inception assembly, refined, calculated to the millimeter, clear even in the simultaneous superposition of four moments suspended in time, levels side by side with a perfect cadence so surprised to even a second viewing. Good race for the cast, well-stocked, clearly motivated and determined to give the best in each sequence, with the rudder firmly in the hands of an increasingly convincing Di Caprio and mature. Exceptional and elegant special effects, not so much for mere technical qualities, but for the ability to fit perfectly on the border between reality and illusion, without losing the absolute likelihood. As for the final "pending" as discussed in reviews of foreign and homegrown, in my humble opinion it is a mere illusion: the elements to give a satisfactory answer to the question are all there, just want them to see. Last note on the soundtrack, signed Hans Zimmer: majestic in all its not music, is able to thicken the stylistic already high production, gently pointing out a few moments, leading to the climax the tension in others. Inception is the demonstration that the pure entertainment does not have to use regardless of intelligence, investigation and pursuit of their cognitive abilities, leading to a new level the concept of action cinema. It is hoped that the cash, however, encouraging to persuade the majors to support future projects not only of the director in London, but also to all those who prove to be able to establish a solid narrative ideas, "simple" maybe, but original.

In a word, Inception deliver, and this is for a friend.

Kraken Review - Review

If you're a fan of Mieville, if you loved the trilogy in New Crobuzon, no doubt you've waited for Kraken as much as myself. The surprise is that the English writer of the eclectic new book differs from some weird fantasy that has brought to the fore, shaping itself more as a complicated and sometimes amusing divertissement .
in over 500 pages of the manuscript Mieville condenses his exasperated visionary, his great culture (which proves that you can range from classical to pop culture up to slide into nerdismo), some 'unexpected humor and an unbridled love for London, the scene of the story and true protagonist of the story. The English capital of present day finds the pages of nineteenth-century charm Kraken, where secret societies and cults move in a mysterious underground dangerous and fascinating. What makes this even more beautiful background to be discovered is the total ignorance in which the protagonist Billy lives, curator of the Museum of Natural History in London and responsible for its main attraction, a giant squid in the glass that attracts every day dozens of onlookers and experts. The sudden disappearance of the precious relic, and forces the young Billy to appear oblivious to the underground world of cultists, apparently responsible for the abduction, immediately renamed squidnap . In spite of himself, the protagonist discovers that London is in the hands of forces beyond his understanding and the very existence of the universe lies in the balance between the anger of the gods and his subjects and capricious power-hungry, have magical powers capable of incomprehensible and upsetting the very fabric of reality. Hunted by special police unit dedicated to the control of religion, helped by one of the guards of the museum that turns out to be much more than just a bouncer, Billy is forced to learn quickly the rules of the new London and facing a battle to 'last blood to the fate of the city and beyond. The journey into the heart of London is full of fascinating characters, from Goss and Subby, two bizarre killer in Collingswod, the foul-mouthed detective in charge of the affair, through Wati, a demi that occurs in any incarnation anthropomorphic object, until the tattoo, criminal genius literally "drawn" on the back of a young London punk. The preconditions for a big freak show to Mieville we are all, however, the work differs deeply from the atmosphere of the trilogy in New Crobuzon: the unusual sense of humor, the cross-reference between the sources and characterize the Kraken as a metanarrative ' work of pure entertainment, stripped of social criticism and metaphors that made the previous novels much more pregnant with meaning. The same characters are mostly little depth, with the exception the protagonist, one of which is devoted to some 'introspection. The pages run fast all things considered, perhaps slightly weighed down by a central part not always smooth, leading to a predictable ending, and eager for plot twists. Kraken I liked? Yes, however, I expected something very different. Moreover, the beauty of Mieville is also the ability to reinvent itself, to change the linguistic register and themes, to surprise the reader to each new release. Recommended to fans of the writer, while newcomers would suggest starting from the trilogy and leave for New Crobuzon Kraken this last, but certainly pleasant, in my honest opinion, subdued compared to the potential author.

The Expendables (Mercenaries) - Review

highly anticipated by fans of '90s action, The Expendables did much to talk about themselves during the process thanks to the stellar cast and businesses to Stallone, who is behind is in front of the camera is proved to have much more to give, despite 64 years and the physical action figure loose from under the sun.
The film does exactly what you'd expect: it offers almost two hours of old style action, and dialogue often sboroni and a revival of all the great action movie star, which, although mostly untrimmed and tired, yet unable to playing with herself and not take itself too seriously. And so, not to shine the fistfights, shootings or weak theme of redemption, but that in addition to the entr'actes Sly involving the Governator (How long aged mother), Dolph Lundgren, the granite Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke. As fast, the minutes devoted to their trade alone are worth the ticket price. The rest, if you've lived the first 90 of Italy in the late evening, you already know: tons of explosives and lead, muscles (old, but swelling) and a go-go gogliardia. Excellent as always Jason Statham, who can not deface any way to the front of the old guard and shows the great merit of the star witness of the Action of these years. Ultimately, a film that deserves to exist only for the nostalgia effect, rendered worthless if those golden years of the B-Movie action you missed them there. If this is what you seek, do not miss it.

My Mircowave Has No Power

The Ghost Writer - Review

Polanski's films certainly have something unique: they are good or bad, after a vision of the mix of cutting and directing music is recognizable. When I put on The Ghost Writer (as always "good" translation from Ghost Writer) I did not even know that it was a film by Roman (holy ignorance), but ten minutes later I was absolutely certain.
Coming to the point, is not that this is an example of cinema's most senior director of Krakow: Despite the distinctive features of its grammar are directing us all, something in the course of the work is out of hand and close to an interesting start, the film gradually loses appeal until unsettling to a final, futile, better still horrible. Fortunately, the cast functions as it should, and it is a relief, since the film structured like a play: indoors, a general inertia, bearing absolutely dialogues. Ewan Mcgregor confirms his talent but also the versatitlità that distinguishes it, that ability to be at ease both in the role of Jedi's most famous of all time as those of a writer of modest hopes which it commissioned a review of a scorching autobiography of former British Prime Minister. The latter, played by Pierce Brosnan in great shape in a few minutes he can give the character a believable and original size, hiding much of a secret. The conditions are perfect to kick off the classic polanskyane situations, without a general sense of the protagonist's persistent inadequacy, paranoia, conspiracy theories and delusions of persecution.
A film without doubt pleasant for most of his life, which unfortunately end up wasting on by three quarters, slipping to a final unwarranted: even want to call a plot twist, this is a examples are the lowest I've come to the hands. Recommended, however, if only for the undeniable effect of the plots of the magnetic film, perhaps in a lonely night and in bad weather.

How To Get The Rainbow Puffle On Club Penguin?

Predators - Review

When you go to see a movie like Predators, expectations can not be too high. After the tragicomic two chapters of "Alien vs. Predator" is already all too clear how the brand is now over in that dreadful market niche in which you try at all costs to take advantage of the name without any creative intent. Yet the name of Rodriguez, though limited to the production, had kindled some hope.
groped To get the most from the film takes two important premises: forget the original (unattainable, as the son of an era in which B-Movie was not synonymous with commercial crap, but to little money and lots of ideas) and not be too many questions. The story, no doubt, in water on all sides. The heterogeneous and multi-racial group of mercenaries and soldiers parachuted to the planet that acts as a "hunting" for the Adult Predator is composed of a mismatched group of players and obviously very busy, which only serves to emphasize the chasms of the plot. Even the only development or psychology group, is treated so superficially as to be ridiculous at times, and cries out the undervalued "The Cube", which also inspired the Predators to certain dynamics of storytelling. If this were not enough, the story of "hunting" is at odds with the imagery of the original films, and subsequently developed by "Alien vs. Predator" and then: it is introduced (from scratch) a differentiation between two types of predator ( those "big" and "small", without further explanation) that are not at all agree, and they fight each other. In this hopeless chaos makes its appearance in a completely stupid Laurence Fishburne, who in trying to interpret the usual guy mad with prolonged isolation can only ridicule, thankfully, leaves the scene very soon. Leaving aside the very poor quality of the script, the biggest problem remains in the cast: Fishburne We have already spoken of, but Adrien Brody is the real fish out of water, confirming its nature as an actor "without identity" already suspected earlier. Impossible to know whether sooner or later they will choose, the important thing is not to give more action movies, where despite the average physical Hollywood just can not to be credible as the Alpha male. Too bad for Danny Trejo, whose charisma is totally wasted. If the psychology of the characters is broken, the story gaps in overtime, the ill-assorted cast and the setting quite simple, what can remain? Some scene of action is not evil and the constant references to the original film, nothing more. By adding a decent director, the result is an hour and a half of all discrete Entertainment decerebration, and woe be to ask too many questions.

Condom Between Regular Magnum

Finch - Review

I stumbled in through the Finch "advice" Amazon: in practice, the site keeps track of purchases and crosses them with those made by others, returning a series of readings that should suit my taste. Not always the thing works, but in this case the synopsis available on the site I was intrigued enough to convince me to buy. John Finch is a detective. Yet you do not call John Finch, and is not a detective.
City (fantastic) of Ambergris is narrow under the domination of a fungus commonly known as "gray caps, anthropomorphic mushroom out of the ghetto in which they were confined slowly asserted its dominance thanks to their impressive biological capacities. Able to transform the plant into weapons, surveillance systems and even entire buildings are gray caps are absorbed and re-wrote the "genetic code" of the city turning it into a hostile place for humans, who lead a life of hardship under close surveillance : rigidly assigned work, curfews, rationed food. In this scenario, the former revolutionary Finch is assigned to the local police, of course controlled by the gray caps: fungal haunted by his superior, desperate viewers of the progressive mutation of his colleague and friend Wyte (accidentally infected with fungal spores and is intended eventually to become a hideous hybrid), forced to carry a gun fungal malfunctioning puppet detective begins to lose the initial belief that they can do something to pay its kind to oppression. I want to rebel sopiscono and become increasingly alienated, leaving room for a silent resignation. This, until he happens to my hands a case that could shake the foundations of domination: a man and a gray cap are found dead in a city apartment, apparently fallen from a great height directly in the living room. Intrigued by the bizarre crime scene, Finch began the investigation with the help of his only friends rimastigli, a former librarian and his colleague Wyte, tightly controlled by his superior fungus. Soon, the plot of a huge conspiracy emerge: one part John discovers that the construction of two huge towers in the harbor fungal hides a terrible secret, the other kidney is aware that the resistance against the gray cap is more active than ever, and just waiting for the right moment to strike. From these premises, off an intricate plot that mixes styles typical of 'hard boiled to delirium bio-fiction, drawing the reader in a heavy, made of conspiracy theories and paranoia. Jeff Vandermeer The author is adept at describing the city of Ambergris delirium and the action that takes place, adopting a style "sensory" that by using very short sentences returns in a few strokes the scenarios from the perspective of the protagonist. The remarkable mix of genres: science fiction, the noir, the action of pure bio-delusion to Cronemberg, Vandermeer style moves while maintaining a "unique" clean, engaging, at times terribly oppressive. However, not everything works perfectly: the plot soon becomes too large, ignoring proper presentation of the many characters you move, have to suffer the ache empathy and pathos, replaced by a vague indifference to dramatic events may be due to a lack of characterization of the many supporting actors. The pace is not the best: after a very slow start, the events accastano in the second half of the work with a speeding, once again undermining the emotional involvement. Far from being a perfect work, Finch, however, deserves to be read for the incredible atmosphere that permeates and the author's remarkable ability to extricate themselves from a multitude of literary and film influences. After the extraordinary China Mieville, another author can prove that science fiction can be conducted away from his plate and function as a container, such as cross-genre styles in which condense as completely unrelated.

Increased Cervical Fluid And Cramping

A Montecolombo breathes a fragrant "Wind Marino

Montecolombo, the average Valley Basin, is a small village with medieval origins that have a few meters of land near the village of Montescudo. From up here the eye can wander along the horizon from the coast in Cesenatico Gabicce. The eye can see the line of the sea mingles with the sky. The sea breeze is a local cut into the hillside. E 'spacious, tidy, clean and welcoming. Equipped to have lunch or dinner outside in a playground for children who wish for freedom. In terms of food and wine was never stated as the goal to prove. A group of friends, however, has also convinced critics demanding to make a stop between the old-style tables and chairs. The result? Nothing short of amazing. Driven by not wanting to exaggerate, in the midst of a very strong unit to the menu of the time there Sunday. The specialty paper is well written. With large letters and information quick but comprehensive. Straconvincono risotto of red sea, passatelli tomatoes and bass, the capellacci stuffed swordfish. From Forget pasta with seafood and mushrooms (c'azzeccano own, do not match at all). Good, let's step back, the baskets prepared with torches and measured doses of breadcrumbs. Great scallops and meaty "mussels" (the peoci, mussels, call them what you like). Stone, on the contrary, the grilled tuna (but the taste is a must). Fast service, rather than the good wine list (no white but the San Patrignano). Mouth-watering final with lemon sorbet. The bill? It depends on what you choose, however, the average of Rimini. Final Judgement: From the Council without a doubt. Better if together. Infoline, 0541.863222.

E3 2010 - impressions

I stand here on my bed at the Kyoto Grand Hotel Los Angeles at the end of the first day of E3 2010, III & IV of things to write already, but I like to fuck and make wee hours, and then lose a bit here 'of precious minutes of sleep. After having attended the event and conference Kinect Microsoft yesterday, this morning that Nintendo and a large number of events around the stands I can easily pull the strings of a preliminary opinion on this year's most important exhibition of video games worldwide.
begin with the Microsoft conference, so rich in content, but definitely not dedicated gamers: very, very much space was dedicated to Kinect course (but I notice that many still call it Christmas ... maybe because it is unpronounceable, it sounds evil and lends itself to a thousand interpretations macaroni?), the much-chatted motion sensor that will allow you to play without devices, using only body movements and using voice commands. A vision that has captivated the press and public for about a year and unfortunately (predictably) is an instrument devoted exclusively reveal today to an audience very casual: the competitor to Wii Sports, Nintendogs competitor and so on. What can gamers expect? Certainly not an entire lineup hardcore, well integrated with existing games. Only one has come, perhaps the wrong drive the cars of Forza Motorsport 3 miming the gesture with his hands is really a ridiculous idea, and be able to closely observe its fleet with the motion sensor does not seem a big deal . Then, the Xbox 360 Slim: none of that, an obvious choice given the presence of the PS3 Slim has long been on the market and a questionable design, to provide all the features that Sony offers the same price for several months. As mentioned above, a few things for gamers. Quite different from the presentation Nintendo: Zelda with strong party (if Miyamoto then learn to play .... but it is an idol, we like it ^ ^), Epic continues with Mickey, to dream with Donkey Kong and Kirby and gave the final thrust with 3DS, announcing a ton of titles of the other most promising one on a platform that is right now is destined to smash the charts. A show worthy of the name after several years, Moscow, great job.
We then move on to my appointments today, a real hell began at noon and finished at six in the evening, without a break: great blow. Line up Bethesda, 2K line up, line up Warner, Ubisoft line-up all in one breath. Bei titles in general: XCOM was really a surprise, although the graphics are not exceptional lives of a striking design and an atmosphere somewhere between a 50's detective movie, the Man in Black and Ghostbusters. A delirious mix, apparently very dynamic gameplay, it could be a truly original product. Very nice Rage, Id and the rest is a house with "a certain tradition." Remarkable graphics, good gameplay, free roaming, very different: it seems to please those who loved the atmosphere of Fallout 3 but does not like RPG, Borderlands or who would have loved if he had a more serious matter. I have high expectations. Last surprise of the day, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. I was among those who thought it was one of many commercial operations, a "milk cow" and the short demo game for me by the guys at Ubisoft has instead reserved a lot of new gameplay, use the script even more spectacular and the ability to actively use his teammates on the battlefield to complete the murders: 15 hours of gameplay and a guaranteed fund multiplayer that I can only try tomorrow, for a title that promises very well, against all odds.
And the show itself? The first thing you notice is the huge influx of people, eye significantly higher than last year. Endless queues everywhere, and despite the aid often pass as a journalist, sometimes even the experts are forced to wait to access the presentations. Not to mention eating or something to take the Starbucks inside the plant fair, queues are able to instantly switch any craving for food or derivatives of coffee. A real army of people, and if today while walking through the corridors to the maximum speed allowed by my body a little 'stressed out from jet lag I could not help being a bit' annoyed by the walls of people are really happy to see that the show works, the market pull, people are passionate about. For me, unfortunately this is not the wonders of E3 as last year, E3 will be the agenda of fierce and thick that barely allow me some quick visit to the showfloor, but I still hope at the end of everything, to discover to be successful also to absorb a little 'magic indisputable.

How To Look Likemeagan Good

Restaurant" by Thomas ", for true connoisseurs

Marco Valeriani

The restaurant overlooks the waterfront. Rimini from here is even more beautiful, especially if you look after a storm almost summer. The Restaurant "by Thomas" is at number 15 of the great ribbon of asphalt known by all as Lungomare Di Vittorio. In terms of furniture is not at all pretentious. It 'absolutely functional, comfortable enough. We try it on a Thursday night. The scents greet you from the kitchen entrance. There is no need to wait long to be accompanied at the table. Fast, efficient. The service is fun, bubbly. Omar is moving among people with the savoir faire of the manager aware. Behind the kitchen is rather Massimiliano. He knows his stuff and feels! Pleasant Pignoletto Sandoni 2009. Excellent small sardines and red mullet tasted along with the fornarina (amazing, it would be worth only eat one). The cuttlefish with peas is a great level: soul the taste, makes them happy before the arrival of a good risotto gelato. The grains are well separated, cooked right, the portions very generous. Those who call in Romagna "peoci, black mussels, mussels, have" flesh pulpy. Valid even clams. Convince even the cinnamon, baskets and mini-bruschetta with tomato and shrimp. We skip the fried deliberately and proposals for grilled fish. The full retail coffee sorbet an appointment for true connoisseurs. to be missed, never alone.

Metro 2033 - Review

Dimitri Glukhovsky bravely published his first work on the Metro 2033 web: the origins of this country I have not known but is likely to be met with little approval from the homes Publishing and perhaps with the inability to pay an agent. Thus, his finished novel is fed to the Internet, which has devoured by returning an unexpected taste of success.
Brought to you by this part of the world only after the realization of a video game inspired by its pages by THQ, I finished the book in his hands about a month ago, sparked my interest, thanks to a storyline certainly not original but very charming.
year, of course, is Title: Following World War III inevitable nuclear holocaust and the population is now reduced by more than two decades to live underground. While the remnants of mankind strip between the tunnels first used as a basis for public transport, there is little news coming from the surface: the only certainty is that there happens something very strange. The animals are not extinct, but the massive doses of radiation they have changed and the desperate need to feed them reported at an early stage. But the beasts are not the only people in what remains of the land: an anthropomorphic unidentified species, possibly humans "evolved" to resist the radiation and the air stifling, thrives on the surface at regular intervals and attempt to invade the subsurface using all access available. The Dark Ones, so the man nicknamed, are a terrible threat. Not that things are much better under the ground: the huge Metro of Moscow (now the busiest in the world) is home to what remains of the Russian people and a new civilization is being formed. The stations were quickly transformed into independent states, poised between the total anarchy laws and improvised a new economy was born, based on the most valuable items available, namely the Kalashnikov cartridges, and the scarcity of resources forces everyone to a sluggish supply based on mushroom cultivation and breeding pigs. The interesting socio-political scenario is described with great clarity by the author, who spares no digressions bodied (often in the form of dialogue) to describe in detail the contradictions of the new Russian society. Which, incidentally, study after study seems to resemble more and more like the current one, and fanatics of the former communist bloc, including neo-fascists. In this chaos on the brink of self- Artyom the young protagonist is living a normal life after all, taking part in the shifts as a farmer, rancher or a border guard at the station known as VDNKh. This peaceful routine is suddenly interrupted by the encounter with a stalker named Hunter: the latter belongs to a paramilitary organization that deals with brave the dangers of the area to bring back as many resources and information possible. Soon convinced that the Dark Ones launched a final attack to kill the remnants of the human race, before returning to his wanderings in the hands of Artyom Hunter leaves a core mission, from which it may depend on the future of humanity. Thus begins an adventure "On the Road" with the protagonist goes on the road towards the station's legendary Polis, seemingly unreachable because of fighting between various factions. Artyom's journey will not only experience the search for truth about the Dark Ones, but above all an educational experience that will lead the young to think about fate, about what it means to be human, sense (or not) to delay an existence made of hardship, hope to return one day to the surface. On his way between the expected meetings with their different shapes, including essays, dishonest merchants, political activists, religious fanatics and rebels, each with its own point of view, each with its own explanation for the fate that apparently sensible humanity has been chosen. Between the pages of Glukhovsky there is also room for some 'action and some thrills, but the true stars are the stages of dialogue with the fascinating supporting cast and the long reflections of the protagonist on the absurdity of the human condition. A novel slow, which manages to be read with ease perilous and can boast the luxury of a final means a foregone conclusion. An interesting point of view on humanity, a return to science fiction classic, that makes imaginative use of its power to evoke thoughts of all present. Not without flaws, all the inclination to repeat some clichés in the interweaving and a tendency to confuse the reader because of structure ipetrofica, Metro 2033 is a book to read because of its apparent origin from a different culture from ours, capable of generating a universe both alien and familiar. The result, Metro 2034, has already been translated into German and English and will soon see the light even in English. Personally, I can not wait to re-immerse in the tunnels of Moscow.

Alan Wake - Review

to review the past year or so after a few games, first as a hobby and by profession, one can say they saw him (almost) all. Certain patterns recur relentlessly, certain securities drag Fun negligible without a minimum of taste nor criterion. Yet, what should a video game? Should be fun, to entertain, to take you somewhere else to do what you can not do at home.
Whether massacre the evil aliens or invest the old ladies who go shopping. E 'treatment (Catharsis is a term that frightens me, makes me think of cough and grammar school) for some time to forget how Pallosa life everyday. I can think of a thousand titles out so well lately, from Dante's Inferno in Dead to Rights, awarded (rightfully so) for what they do, or turn off your brain and have fun. There is another way, one wonders? You can do the game something different, better, more intelligent, stimulating the imagination, make me want to get to read or retrieve some old movie or TV series, short, something more than just sparacchiare at all? Yes there is. Only it's difficult, very difficult. Because the market does not want the boring stuff: the market wants the bad aliens, big boobs and guns that do the Job. And I do not pull out, because sometimes we want them all, without exception, and deny the fun attached to them is simply ridiculous. But not ALWAYS and ONLY aliens, boobs and guns. There may be other. Sometimes, there's more. Alan Wake is a video game half: half the monsters you shoot bad guys, you run, it is blasphemy because it is wrong to jump and touch the load level. But the other half is quite different: there is a supernatural horror story, decent, maybe not beautiful but supported by people who leave something in their path. There is a well balanced sense of humor, which really does not overdo it at times laugh. There is the unmistakable style of a monologue writer fanatic, and in a story where the protagonist is a writer has really found the proverbial "death itself". Is there a setting that remains in my heart, so realistic to give the impression in the memory of seeing it for real. There quell'ammiccante gigione and structure from TV series like that, it's trendy and it works perfectly in context. In short, perhaps as a real game is not perfect, the fights are not memorable and the stages are just driving sucks, but the narrative structure and characterization are right in the heart of this reflection. Alan Wake is an attempt to give the game something more: a real script, the three-dimensional characters, not only to behold, a character, atmosphere. If during this time you feel like boobs and aliens, left to lose. But if, like me, you're in a period when Gears of War it can not be more, get carried away by this small and brave attempt to bring the game into new directions, to vary a bit 'the recipe to give it that wonderful feature that for now the cinema and literature stand out: to offer them a bit' to suit all tastes, from trash to the product a bit crap 'most dense in ideas.

What's The Best Makarov Pm

Genesis Code (Book of Eli) - Review

not that Book of Eli (Genesis Code to call him just can not do that ... but the translators have in my head?) Is a bad movie. Maybe a little '. The problem as always is in intent: to make an action movie background Fallout (ultraviolence attached) or do a sermon on post-atomic background?
If the first few minutes thanks to the fascinating scenery (sometimes plastic but nevertheless inspired) and Denzel Washington in good shape, the rest of the course shows you do not know which side to take. The Catholic moral wavers between being aware that the Book object of many disputes is actually a powerful weapon and the will to pass it so tenaciously defended by the protagonist. The dialogues are a bit 'up and down, including some gorgeous monologue by Gary Oldman and other boorish total trade (especially between Eli and co-star). The final scene is shot, striking and might work if it were not for a timing completely wrong to frustrate the ends of surprise. Even the fighting, in all their "stylish" end to be fake and not very credible. The film does however look to the end without getting bored, and not cheap. On the other hand leaves dissatisfied, at the mercy of a conclusion that solves nothing and everything, with the book in the hands of a group whose only mentioned "good intentions" are not sufficiently explained, nor even introduced a posteriori.
Nine years by the excellent "The true story of Jack the Ripper" the Hughes Brothers reappear a little 'foggy, unable to get the most out of the cast and shooting action scenes convincing. A sin with the available material, good cast and some ideas a little 'clearer you could do much better.

How Many Pennies Fit In A Tub

Iron Man 2 - Review

Just in the previous post we talked about as a result of achieving any successful franchise is a challenge in the case of Iron Man, honestly one of the best films based on comics with Batman Begins and its sequel, the task was made more difficult by the excellent success of his original film, thanks to the unique ability to not take itself too seriously, gained a sense of humor and enjoyable with the extraordinary performance of Robert Downey Jr is perfect in the part. ;
without being a victim of the tendency to exaggerate that characterizes most of the "number 2", director John Favreau shows almost the entire original cast and some welcome new entry on the scene of a sequel that re substantially the same formula as the original funny, but slipping in some extra drama. Although the humor is once again biting and honest, the plot allows himself moments of seriousness undeveloped and not always appropriate. The dilemmas which Tony Stark is facing and the real risk of life are largely clouded by a script that does not give these issues sufficient development, relegating them to a limbo of semi-indifference of both the performers as the audience, fortunately, it was decided not to hand over limestone, and these moments slip away without risk boredom. Good performance of the cast: Robert Downey if you definitively confirmed as the star of our times (and the feeling is that the charge will last for a long time), nothing bad is the Whiplash Mickey Rourke, except that the script tends to put too much on the sidelines. Good race for Sam Rockwell, which although at times overly dramatic monologues offers some very tasty (especially the one of the choice of weapons). Too bad for Scarlett Johansson, relegated to the expected tight jumpsuit and do the odd man out between Tony and Pepper, but without much convincing. Gwyneth Paltrow makes her a role that fits very while he may miss Terrence Howard, perfect in the role Rhodes in the first film: Don Cheadle tries to replace him, but sympathy is not the same.
The presence of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury is revealed that a more apt choice: in addition to "build bridges" for the upcoming film about the Avengers, the actor manages to give his character a dimension that is just waiting to be properly developed.
Overall, a good sequel, made with intelligence and above all, without exaggeration, and that ends up doing exactly what he asks, have fun. It could be more daring? Certainly. As the director proves much bolder than in the predecessor (absolutely enjoyable sequence in first person) and the fights are choreographed with the expert hand, the script is to prove the weakest link in the chain. To see then, but with the right spirit and without too many expectations.

Play South Park Quicktime

Mass Effect 2 - Review

How to create a sequel, this is the question that must be placed in Bioware. More than anything else, it takes a lot 'of courage, and it seems that in Canada they have to sell. Take over his job, deconstructing, locate faults and begin to distribute cuts and scissor kick is definitely not an easy job.

Yet it is a profession needs to be done where the purpose is really to improve any product. The inventory did not work? Cut. The combat was too slow? We make Mass Effect a REAL third-person shooter, quick and covers the rest. The Mako was boring to drive? Goodbye. With this "cruel" philosophy, the gameplay has been stripped of all those RPG elements that, let's face it, worked very little.
What is left? Long sections shooter, which eventually really work, and an incredible amount of hours of dialogue. What a bore, you might think. Yet the quality of the dialogues is that playing Mass Effect I spent 2 more hours to explore the intricate psychology of people which to shoot.
no coincidence that the structure of the gameplay has just been created around the actors, who become even more important in our Shepard and end up stealing the show with their charisma. The new group of heroes and anti-heroes put together by Bioware surprised by the thickness of each figure, with its own history, a particular character to be reckoned with, especially a high credibility.
course exploration of the planets is very boring, some sections of the shooting is not really the best and the story tends to shrink too fast coming on the final epilogue, but Mass Effect 2 is a unique hybrid Typically, the GDR component which manifests itself in the best way, or offering to a player of real personality to discover and interact with.
The campaign could last 10 or 40 or more hours, it all depends on how deep you want to dig into the history of your traveling companions, true focal point of the narrative arc.
Waiting for an expansion at least worthy dell'Awakening issued for Dragon Age, I find myself imagining what we can expect from Mass Effect 3, given the upheaval that accompanied the release of this second chapter.
If it is not clear, it is an experience that I recommend to anyone with a modicum of passion for licenses ruolistica inspiration, or simply for narrative segments with a minimum thickness.

Reptile Fogging System

Kindle the library in your pocket

I buy a lot of books, here's the problem. The shelves (thankfully deep) of my library have passed the first of welcoming a row, then two (resulting in logistical problems for research and sudden landslides) and ended at the third horizontal row. More than I have in my attic, plus the ones I sold. A nightmare. Add to this a second problem: I read mostly Anglo-Saxon authors and are opposed to the average translation. A book is not only imported often difficult to find, but also average more expensive than the norm and seen the average prices of the press and my pace of reading, we're talking about a lot 'of money.

I knew the existence of the famous / infamous e-book reader, and I tried to read up a bit 'on the subject. Unfortunately, I found poor documentation, confusing information. The following will explain the reasons for my choice, and all the pros and cons.
Among the many models available in the market is undoubtedly the most fascinating of the Amazon Kindle. It is not about aesthetics or other technical characteristics, but the opportunity to buy books directly from the Kindle itself.
Let me explain: traditional e-book reader from reaching the hands of the user as "empty shells". To fill them with e-book should get them (legally) at the shop or online (illegally) at hacker sites and programs peer2peer. This means that there is always an intermediate step, ie the use of a computer connected to the Internet with which you download e-book, and then pass them to the player via a cable connection, quite a chore. Not to mention other problems of compatibility of formats, layouts and the like.
The Kindle is different and can in fact use a 3G connection (ie the same protocol on which they are based phones) to connect directly to the shop Amazon's online and thus allow the direct purchase of books to be charged to your credit card, with a nearly global coverage at no additional cost and timing of which are around a minute to download an entire book.
This possibility was until a few months ago for the exclusive prerogative of the residents in the U.S., but Amazon has just made the big step and extended connectivity to almost all of Europe, including Italy fortunately. As
not result in what telephone operators Amazon has strict agreements also allow Italy to connect to the 3G network and make purchases in real time, the important thing is that there are costs. You can stay connected as you want, download what you want, the only costs involved are the prices of individual e-book.
Sometimes there is drawback: the books purchased from Amazon can only be read with the Kindle (which is not really a problem), and catalog e-books is vast, but it sees the lack of some new releases that are made wait for licensing issues, the council is, if you intend to buy the Kindle, take a look around on Amazon and some books of interest to you: If one of the versions available for purchase is "Kindle Edition", you are on horseback. Add to this the fact that buying from Italy you pay an additional tax on cover price: in the dark without losing percentage is enough to say that additional charges including prices ranging from 7 to $ 13 for each volume. I consider that much more convenient than paper counterparts.
That's it. I am happy with my Kindle, without whose screen contrast and brightness without adding this and what makes a page hard copy, I buy books in a minute and enjoy a battery that lasts for several thousand "turn the page" (when the screen is stationary, the Kindle does not consume energy).
I can also add notes to books through the full QWERTY keyboard, consult a dictionary right on the page I'm reading (the Oxford Dictionary) and access to Wikipedia from anywhere in the world for free (a little extra treat).
I miss the paper? It 's just a matter of nostalgia, but for me I willingly do without the physical support to devote to what really matters. If you've read Fahrenheit 451 you know the drill: the book is not important, but what is written.
Council on Kindle to all lovers of reading in that language originally published as I have had problems of accessibility and space: you will not regret the decision.
Finally, rate: postage, and all 250 € and only 2 days of waiting because the carrier is present in my door.
Nice work Amazon. Happy reading!
