Break In New Akadema Glove

Trailer Roundup: Sherlock Holmes, Prince of Persia, Battlestar Galactica Avatar

It 's a great flakes trailer recently. While Avatar is approaching the issue with the first full official trailer, Sherlock Holmes is shown for the second time, and Prince of Persia makes his first appearance.

start with the detective of Baker Street. The frenetic two minutes and a half promo indugiuano plenty of action and the relationship between the brilliant detective to his most important collaborator, Dr. Watson. If Robert Downey Jr. seems to have fallen perfectly into the part, and with a few jokes based on hair and staring eyes can already upset to give the character a new dimension and convincing, little room is left to Jude Law, could be a simple choice promotion, the hope is, however, that the character is intended for a more important role than that of mere shoulder for jokes and last-minute rescues.
Interesting scenes, which seem to blend the dark comic inspirations already seen in "From Hell - The True Story Jack the Ripper "to a more personal look, reveals that in some long shots of London a more colorful, though the distinctive features of the gray industrial revolution is always left plenty of room. The rapid sequence one after another, suggesting some vague references and esoteric element steampunk , and still plenty of action.
For those who loved the books deal with this film adaptation will be a little 'a leap of faith, accept and will include a review of course very clear: this does not mean that the characters remain clearly marked, and that Robert Downey Jr. has already demonstrated the ability to fundamentally transform a mediocre film into something enjoyable. Keep on Hoping.

Moving to Prince of Persia, the vision of the trailer I vaguely recalled the first time I saw the promo for Pirates of the Caribbean. Fracassone action, beautiful costumes, sumptuous sets, lungissimi fields and rich detail. The problems are basically two: Jake Gyllenhaal is not Johnny Depp, Ben Kingsley and Joffrey is not Rush. As the former Donnie Darko functions beautifully in the role of the Prince, remains to be seen if its confirmed skill as an actor can reveal versatile and adapt to the interpretation of an all action blockbuster, special effects and witty jokes, but unfortunately, his previous dramatic interpretations and introverted does not bode well in this regard. The sequences shown
does not suggest anything new under the sun, and the risk of crazy crap is just around the corner.

conclude with Avatar, without concealing that not expecting a film with so much anxiety for some time. Will that science fiction cinema is dying, it will be something that reminds me of the underrated "Starship Troopers", but the new work by James Cameron might actually be worth something. What we have seen so far on the planet Pandora leaves the reader breathless, the characters all have a certain charisma and seems to have been a lot of space devoted to dialogue in depth. In this regard it is interesting to note that the trailer was manufactured, leaving little room for the frenetic action scenes that might be expected, in favor of a slower pace and dedicated to the relationship between the characters. As not exactly original, the story seems to propose psyche and social implications is not trivial, the sign of belonging to science fiction than real, the "educated", which hopefully can be confirmed. The final crescendo lingers on some spectacular battle, the triumphant notes of a pre-battle speech typical blockbuster made in the USA, which slightly detracts from the excellent atmosphere built in the first two minutes. The risks of meatloaf are there, but a long series of encouraging details keep alive the flame of hope. Make us believe, James.
